Visit to the Fire House!

Last week it was an unusually chilly day here in Connecticut. However, we didn't let that stop us from walking down the street into town to visit our local fire house. They were having a fire safety day and open house event.   The boys were not shy at all about wanting to shoot water from the fire hose or put out a grill fire with an extinguisher.  They got to sit in the old truck and ring the bell, see real firefighters in their uniforms and look around all of the trucks that were out.  What a fun way to start the day!  Thank you to all of the volunteers that protect us every day at The Glenville Fire Department.
