The Christmas Spectacular!

Today was a special day for us. We took the boys to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. What a treat!  We braved the absolutely frigid(!) temperatures outside to hop on the train and head to the city. It was well worth it to see all of the Santas, dancers, singers, and the Rockettes!

Christmas 2017

We had a lovely Christmas this year.  The pics below are from Christmas Eve, Christmas morning and Christmas evening.  All different stops with varying family members, and all good.  Matching Christmas PJ's for the win!

A Day Off From School

The boys and I were off from school on Thursday for the holiday.  We took advantage of a beautiful day to go to a playground, hike/run/bike on the trails, go to the library, eat lunch at a favorite restaurant, enjoy some ice cream, run some errands and finish at another playground.  It was a great day that ended with T napping on the couch at 4pm.  Yes!

Ready to take on the trails

Back to School 2017

This is the year that both of the boys are finally with me at my school.  I am so excited for this!  B just started 2nd grade and T is in the pre-k 5 class.  Both of them have great teachers and are already loving every minute.  The transition was very smooth for everyone, including T.  So YAY for that!  Below are some pictures from the first week.

Cape Cod 2017

We just finished up our summer vacation in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.  We had such a great week!  This year we stayed in a real Cape style house that had a loft bedroom for the boys and a fun spiral staircase.  It was a block from a rocky beach and about a 1/2 mile to a smoother beach and awesome boardwalk.  We jumped on trampolines, raced go karts, went bowling, read books, laid on the beach, ate a LOT of seafood and burgers, swam in the ocean and a huge pond, went fishing and caught a shark! It was a nice, relaxing week before heading back to the real world of school and work.  We had family and friends visit to break up the week and enjoyed all of our time.  Here is our trip from start to finish in pictures:
