The Second Half of our LA Vacation

We had so much fun in LA that I didn't get a chance to post pics!  We are home now and adjusting to east coast time.  We slept until 9am today - yikes!  At least we have the long weekend to adjust.

Here is what we did Sunday - Thursday this week...

Sunday meant a Pure Barre class for me and then we all went over to a friend's house to hang out while all the kids played together.

Monday was Disneyland day!  We got up early and packed in the minivan to take the drive to Orange County.  It didn't take too long and once we were there the kids enjoyed themselves.  We went to Cars world where we did a tractor ride and saw all of the places from the movie.  Then we went over to see the castle, Mickey's house, Adventureland, and of course Star Wars!  We basically covered it all.  The kids (and adults) were cranky and exhausted by the end of the day.  It was a nice, quiet ride home!

Tuesday was a work day for Chris and Kevin, so Jenn and I took the boys to the Children's museum in the morning.  They had a great time playing in the ball pit, dressing up like fireman and spraying water and pretending to be pilots in an old plane.
In the afternoon we made a big cookie candy pizza treat and then Chris and I finished off the night with a date.  Dinner out, stars and moon at the Griffith observatory and a visit with friends.  So nice!

Wednesday was our last full day in LA.  We hung out at home for most of the day and then took a ride to South Pasadena.  We had heard it was a cute neighborhood and wanted to check it out.  Very cute indeed.  Lots of small, bungalow, craftsman like cottages and a beautiful park to play in.  We played outside, got frozen yogurt and then headed home to pack for the next day.

Thursday we woke up early and headed to the airport for a day of travel (Easter bunny ears included!).  The boys were great on the plane both there an back, so I am thankful for that!  Also glad that we came home on a Thursday so we could take the next three days to get back on east coast time.  We slept in late this morning.  Back to our normal schedule on Monday morning!
