Summer Time and the Livin's Easy...

These boys are growing up fast!  We had so much fun at the playground yesterday just running around, crawling in the wood chips and sliding down the slide.   Woohoo!

We are also taking advantage of our outdoor toys as much as possible.  It's been SUPER hot and humid for the last week, so we have been playing in the water a lot.

 Just 6 more weeks until we are back to school and work full time.  Let's take what we can get!

Changes

Tommy is transitioning to a solids only diet.  No more bottles during the day, and pretty soon, no more at night.  Woohoo!  More counter space for me in my tiny kitchen when I don't have to have all those bottles and parts on the drying rack!

He is definitely interested in trying to do things himself.  Today he took the spoon and bowl right out of my hands and attempted to feed himself...

Summer vacation week

This week our day care is closed, so the boys have been home with me and we have been keeping busy. We played with friends, went to the aquarium, the zoo and the parks.  We visited Papa, had lunch with Meggie.  Watched movies, played in the back yard, took some naps.  We went to the farm, the grocery store and Target.  We were busy!  Here are some pics from the week.  Enjoy  :)

Summer has begun and we are outside!  

Memorial Day Parade

Ben and his best bud, Matty had a blast seeing all the cars, trucks and people at the Memorial Day parade.  He's already pumped for his next parade...whenever that may be!

Happy Birthday Tommy!

Happy first birthday Tommy!  June 8 marked one year since Thomas Gene was born.  It's been a busy year full of ups and downs but we are a better family because we have him in our lives!  He is happy, curious, thriving and adorable.  We love you Goosey!  Happy birthday!
